Elizabeth Brown wrote her first story when she was seven years old. Since then, she has written poems, stories, and more than 30 songs. She graduated from Notre Dame University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and English. For three years, Elizabeth volunteered at the NEED Crisis Line, where she learned to listen to callers compassionately and non-judgmentally.
Her various jobs—clerical, market research, retail, and research and writing for special projects—gave her a wide range of experience. Later, she found employment with the Provincial Government.
Now retired, she relishes the opportunity to pursue her passion for writing. For the past ten years, Elizabeth has volunteered in a charity thrift shop enjoying getting acquainted with people in her community. She has also dabbled in stand-up comedy.
Having recovered from a toxic relationship, Elizabeth wishes to offer hope and encouragement to women in similar straits.
Elizabeth lives in Canada on Vancouver Island.
